PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device of repulsion magnetic circuit type which can be improved in magnetic efficiency and reduced in thickness. SOLUTION: The speaker device is equipped with a magnetic circuit provided with a yoke and a pair of magnets which are magnetized in the perpendicular direction, arranged on the same axis so as to make the similar poles confront each other, and form a magnetic gap between themselves and the yoke, and a case cap which covers the magnetic circuit. By this setup, the magnetic circuit forms a repulsion magnetic circuit. Therefore, in the magnetic circuit, a magnetic flux produced by one of the magnets and another magnetic flux produced by the other magnet are made to flow toward the yoke as they repel each other in a space formed between one magnet and the other magnet. Therefore, magnetic efficiency can be improved. One of the magnets is attached to the inner surface of the case cap located at a magnetic circuit side.
