<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-friction device for a switch, which can be replaced in a short period of time without the replacement of a floor slab, even in the case of the existing floor slab. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-friction device A for the switch is used for supporting a tongue rail T from below by a supporting roller 10, when the tongue rail T is shifted with respect to a stock rail R, in a turnout of a railroad rail. The anti-friction device A comprises a mounting bracket 1 which is fixed to a sleeper 5, and a roller unit 7 which is demountably fixed to the mounting bracket 1. The roller unit 7 is equipped with one supporting roller 10, and a roller supporting frame 7F for supporting the supporting roller.
