PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof structure which can be constructed without depending on the strength of a floor slab and without restrictions on a plot. SOLUTION: In construction of the soundproof structure, firstly, supports 9a, 9c are erected on the ground 4, to which L-shaped members 11a, 11c are attached, respectively. Then, ends of the L-shaped members 11a, 11c are connected to piers, respectively, and a soundproof wall 13a is arranged between the L-shaped members 11a, 11c such that its ends are inserted into grooves formed in side surfaces of the L-shaped members 11a, 11c, respectively. Thus the supports 9a, 9c, the L-shaped members 11a, 11c, and the soundproof wall 13a cooperatively constitute the soundproof structure 1a. The soundproof structure 1a is not borne on the floor slab 5, and therefore it does not depend on the strength of the same. Further the soundproof structure is located inside the plot of a bridge 3, and therefore it can be constructed without restrictions of the plot. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
