PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a useful solid ethylenically unsaturated material which has a comparatively low melting point and is suitable for using for powder coating compositions. SOLUTION: The powder coating composition comprises a powdered solid ethylenically unsaturated material having a melting point of 60-120°C obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate with an at least stochiometric amount of an alcoholic component, wherein the alcoholic component comprises at least a monovalent alcohol, a part of which bears an ethylenic unsaturation derived from acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, and optionally at least a monomeric polyol.
