PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which enables players to wipe out suspicion about dividends in a free game. SOLUTION: A CPU (106) of the slot machine (10) makes a liquid crystal display device (30) display a plurality of sun reliefs (82-84) and a power meter on its display surface (31a) with the execution of the free game so that display areas of the plurality of sun reliefs (82-84) are made to function as a sort of touch panel to determine by an internal lottery which of the first and second items should be extracted from the sun reliefs selected by a player. When the extraction of the second item is determined, the power of a character (81) is reduced by a fixed value to be displayed on the power meter and this operation is repeated until the display of the power meter is down to "0".
