PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea beverage producing method preventing occurrence of secondary sediment even if using various kinds of tea leaves, and to provide tea beverage produced by the producing method. SOLUTION: This tea beverage producing method comprises a process of extracting tea leaves with an alkaline solution, and a process of adjusting the concentration of the extracted solution obtained in the process of extracting tea leaves so as to obtain a prepared solution having strictinin concentration of 1.0 ppm - 10 ppm.
