PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-shaped float for fishing, usable in the daytime with a combination of good visibility and a structure hardly affected by wind and water. SOLUTION: The stick-shaped float 10 for fishing comprises a top part 11 and a body part 12 adjoining it, wherein the body part 12 is larger in diameter than the top part 11 and the top part 11 side is projected above the surface of the water with the waterline 13 as borderline. In this stick-shaped float 10, one or more cylindrical forms 18 larger in diameter than the top part 11 is(are) joint-fixed to the top part 11 on the upper and lower ends in the longitudinal direction with their longitudinal centers coaxial with each other; wherein the top part 11 is penetrated through the center of the cylindrical form(s) 18 in its(their) longitudinal direction, there is a space between the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical form(s) and the outer circumferential surface of the top part 11, and there are multiple through holes 20 on the flank of the cylindrical form(s) 18.
