PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic clamping device achieving a high quality level, while restricting manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The magnetic clamping device comprises a clamping support member 41 and at least one magnetic pad 5 surrounded with the support member. Each pad comprises a magnet that is changeable between an actuation state where a magnetic flux line generated by the pad is extended outward of the clamping device and a non-actuation state where the magnetic flux line is closed in the clamping device. Each pad 5 comprises at least one solenoid coil 58 and 56 of which end is connected to a terminal.
