Disclosed herein are a three-dimensional metal key having a backlighting function, a metal keypad having at least one three-dimensional metal key having the backlighting function, a method of manufacturing the three-dimensional metal key having the backlighting function, and a method of manufacturing the metal keypad having at least one three-dimensional metal key having the backlighting function, in which, when a key for switching the function of communication equipment, such as a mobile phone, a PDA, or an MP3 player, is manufactured from a metal plate, a hole is pierced to permit light to be emitted from behind, and a film is attached to the metal plate to color the light, so that light is emitted behind while the feel of metal material is maintained, thus allowing the key to be easily used at night or in a dark place. |
