The armature (1) has an armature housing (5) fixed at a plastic tube (4), and a drive element (6) movably supported in the armature housing. The drive element is reciprocated relative to a wall (3) that is to be drilled in the direction of a longitudinal axis (X). A cutting edge (10) including a hollow cutting head (11) opens at both ends, where the cutting head is driven by the drive element in the wall that is to be drilled, in order to cut out a part of the wall. A groove (13) runs in a hollow space from an opening (8) of the drive element. An independent claim is also included for a connection arrangement with a spot drilling armature and a pipe guiding flowing medium.
