<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a process for producing nanoparticles having a particle diameter of 200 nm or smaller, which has an excellent recovery efficiency and in which a good-quality colloidal solution of inorganic nanoparticles and multinary-alloy or multinary-compound nanoparticles having any desired composition can be easily produced. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A raw-material liquid is irradiated with a high-energy light having a wavelength shorter than 400 nm to produce nanoparticles having a particle diameter of 200 nm or smaller. When the nanoparticles to be produced are platinum nanoparticles, the raw-material liquid is one obtained by dissolving hexachloroplatinum(IV) acid hexahydrate (H<SUB>2</SUB>Pt(IV)Cl<SUB>6</SUB>·6H<SUB>2</SUB>O) in ethanol (C<SUB>2</SUB>H<SUB>5</SUB>OH).</p> |
