PAPER SHIFT APPARATUS AND ARRAY INK-JET PRINTER HAVING THE SAME AND ARRAY PRINTER PRINTING METHOD

A paper shifting apparatus, an array ink jet printer and a printing method thereof are provided to compensate for a printing defect caused by a defective nozzle by shifting a paper in a main scanning direction when the paper is printed while being repeatedly fed. A paper shifting apparatus comprises: a feeding roller(10) and a feeding roller moving unit(500). The feeding roller is movable in an axial direction so as to shift a paper in a main scanning direction. The feeding roller moving unit(500) moves the feeding roller in an axial direction. The feeding roller moving unit includes a fixing cam member(100) fixed to the frame, which is equipped with a first cam profile whose height is getting higher from one to the other side, a rotation cam member(200) equipped with a second cam profile(210) corresponding to the first cam profile and separately connected with the fixing cam member, which is connected with a rotation shaft(11) of the feeding roller in the center, and a driving unit(300) rotating the rotation cam member. The feeding roller moving unit further includes an elastic member(20) for maintaining an original position of the feeding roller.
