FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with applying abrasion-resistant cast iron to work under conditions of pure dry friction. The cast iron in question contains the components in the following ratio, weight%: carbon 3.3-3.7; silicon 2.1-2.8; manganese 7.0-10.0; chromium 0.3-0.8; copper 0.25-0.4; molybdenum 0.5-0.75; boron 0.03-0.07; phosphorus 0.45-0.65; calcium 0.007-0.03; iron - the rest. The innovation provides increased abrasion resistance at dry friction and enables to decrease the abrasion of the mate. ^ EFFECT: increased plasticity. ^ 1 tbl
