<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to evaluate a content easily and quickly by providing a comment to a lecture or a lecture content in an easy manner, extracting the part of the lecture corresponding to the comment and the like in an easy manner, and displaying it, and, furthermore, arranging the comment data in a listed manner. <P>SOLUTION: In inputting a comment, a content which has been reproduced is stopped when a cursor is placed in the comment input area or when inputting a text is commenced. After inputting a comment, the reproduction of the image is resumed from the frame which has been stopped when, for example, an area of a screen is clicked by a mouse or the like. Then, an effective period of time of the comment is specified by the clicking of the right mouse button, for example. When the inputted comment is selected, the corresponding part of the lecture is extracted and displayed.
