<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter for reducing a power loss at voltage conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The half-bridge resonance converter comprises a primary coil N<SB>1</SB>, a secondary coil N<SB>2</SB>having first and second terminal ends, and, an intermediate point, a first electronic switch (Q<SB>+</SB>, N<SB>3</SB>), a second electronic switch (Q<SB>-</SB>, N<SB>3</SB>), a first power storage element (L<SB>+</SB>, D<SB>+</SB>and R<SB>+</SB>), a second power storage element (L<SB>-</SB>, D<SB>-</SB>and R<SB>-</SB>), and a load containing first and second terminals. The first terminal end of the secondary coil is connected in series with the first electronic switch and the first power storage element. The second terminal end of the secondary coil is connected in series with the second electronic switch and the second power storage element.
