<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing type rotary device which secures an appropriate intermittent life taking into account the relationships with a frequency of intermittent life, radial bearing load, lubricant viscosity, dimensions of a bearing or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a fluid bearing type rotary device 15, a shaft is relatively rotatably inserted into a bearing hole 1C of a sleeve 1. A value of radial bearing life equivalent function (Nd) shown by a formula (1) Nd=η/(S×Ff×P×D) is set to be 100,000 or more, wherein S is a material wear rate and set to be 74,800 (constant),ηis an absolute viscosity at 70°C in a unit of [N×S/m^2], P is a load on every radial bearing in a unit of [N], and D is an axial diameter in a unit of [m]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
