PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which comprises a closing mechanism which maintains an upper case and lower case openable and closable via a hinge provided on one side in an opened state, while being able to appropriately operate upon opening or upon closing, respectively. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises a lower case, an upper case fitted rotatably so as to open and close vertically via the hinge provided on one side, a stand member which has one end which is rotatably fitted in either one of the upper case and the lower case, and can hold the upper case in a released state with respect to the lower case, an electronic device provided in at least one of the upper case and the lower case, a container for containing the electronic device, and a lid which can close the container so as to opacify at least a part of the electronic device, and prevents the one end of the stand member from being disengaged.
