PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control system for improving convenience of a multi-directional display apparatus capable of displaying a recorded and reproduced image at least in one direction. SOLUTION: The display control system includes an image display apparatus 70 having a display screen A72 for displaying an image reproduced in a DVD reproducing apparatus 10, and a display screen B74 for displaying an image supplied from a car navigation device 20. When a person is not detected on a passenger seat 94 by a passenger seat seating sensor 30 during recorded image reproduction operation of the DVD reproduction apparatus 10; the DVD reproducing apparatus 10 is suspended while allowing restart of the recorded image reproduction operation, and a suspend position of the recorded image reproduction operation of the DVD reproducing apparatus 10 is stored in a memory device 60. Further, when a person is detected on the passenger seat 94 by the passenger seat seating sensor 30 after the suspend, the recorded image reproduction operation of the DVD reproducing apparatus 10 is restarted from the suspend position stored in the memory device 60 and is displayed on the display screen B74.
