PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system which is capable of shortening the time required for adjustment of image quality like white balance in each imaging part when controlling switching between imaging operations of two imaging parts. SOLUTION: An imaging system 1 includes imaging parts 3 and 4 and a control part 5 for controlling the imaging parts 3 and 4, and imaging parts 3 and 4 include holding parts for holding parameters values relating to image quality adjustment and signal processing parts 3d and 4d for performing processing of adjusting the image quality of an image signal on the basis of the parameter values held in the holding parts. In response to control of switching from one imaging part (for example, 3) to the other imaging part (for example, 4), the control part 5 reads out the parameter values from the holding part of the imaging part 3 and calculates parameter values relating to image quality adjustment in the imaging part 4 on the basis of the read parameter values and updates the parameter values held in the holding part of the imaging part 4, with the calculated parameter values, and the signal processing part 4d of the imaging part 4 performs image quality adjustment on the basis of the updated parameter values.
