PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a mental burden of a long channel switching time without providing an extremely large storage area. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiving device comprises a plurality of digital broadcast receivers and a plurality of digital decoders; a switching means of periodically switching a channel of a digital broadcast receiver that a viewer does not normally use among the plurality of digital broadcast receivers; a storage means of storing a plurality of in-frame predictive encoded data of digital broadcast data by channels of the digital broadcast receivers; and an output means of outputting in-frame predictive encoded data of a newly selected viewing channel among the data stored in the storage means up to a time immediately before the switching of the channel in a data non-reception period from the point of time when the viewer switches the viewing channel to the reception of the in-frame predictive encoded data over the newly selected viewing channel.
