摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Co base metal glass alloy having a satisfactory workability and a high strength, and also having high glass formability. SOLUTION: The Co base metal glass alloy has a composition expressed by (Co<SB>1-x</SB>Fe<SB>x</SB>)<SB>100-a-b-c-d</SB>M<SB>a</SB>C<SB>b</SB>B<SB>c</SB>L<SB>d</SB>(wherein, M is one or two kinds selected from Mo and Cr; L is one or more kinds of elements selected from Y, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb; further, 0≤x≤0.7, in which a, b, c, and d are atomic%, respectively; and, 22≤a≤35, 6≤b≤20, 1≤c≤11, 10≤b+c≤26, and 0.5≤d≤4 are satisfied). In the metal glass alloy, the temperature width (ΔTx) in a supercooled liquid region is≥50 K; compressive strength at room temperature is≥4,000 MPa; wall thickness is 14 mm at the maximum; and the volume fraction of glass phases is 100%.
