PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim for a pneumatic tire capable of effectively suppressing deviation of the assembled tire in traveling and air leakage by appropriately disposing small projection rows on a bead seat. SOLUTION: This rim 1 for the pneumatic tire is provided with the bead seat tightly fitted to a bead base 6 of the pneumatic tire. The bead seat 2 is provided with at least two small projection rows 8a and 8b consisting of a plurality of small projections 7a and 7b disposed at a prescribed pitch P along the circumferential direction C, at a prescribed interval.
