[Also in Division G5] In an apparatus for dyeing, cleaning or otherwise treating fabric, the material 6 is run over rollers 7 Fig. 5, and vibration generators 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b &c. are arranged on opposite sides of the runs, between rollers. Fluid is supplied through ducts 5. The vibrator comprises plates cut out and stacked to form a battery of whistles which operate together to produce a wave-front travelling away from the stack.
