A non-woven fabric that is provided with uneven surface and has at least its fiber basis weight regulated; and a process for producing the non-woven fabric. Non-woven fabric (110) produced in substantially sheetlike form with given thickness, the non-woven fabric (110) having its fiber basis weight regulated by blowing a fluid composed mainly of a gas onto fiber web (100) with a fiber-to-fiber freedom, is provided with multiple groove portions (1) with low basis weight and, continuously disposed along the groove portions (1), multiple convex portions (2) with high basis weight arranged adjacent to the multiple groove portions (1), respectively, wherein the fiber basis weight of the multiple groove portions (1) is smaller than that of the multiple convex portions (2).
