A method and a system for providing a two-way health training service with the home network are provided to offer the two-way health training service by wirelessly measuring fat degree through the IP STB of the home network, and integrally managing moving pictures capturing motion of a user and a health trainer. A fat measurer(104) measures the fat of a client. A client camera(106) captures the moving picture of the client. The IP STB(102) transmits fat measurement and the moving pictures of the client through the Internet, and provides an external media contents to a client display device. A client information database(112) stores the fat measurement received from the IP STB. A client moving picture database(114) stores the client moving pictures received from the IP STB. A health trainer moving picture database(118) stores the moving pictures of the health trainer captured by an SP(Service Provider) camera(116). A broadcasting server(110) manages each database and transmits the health trainer moving picture reflecting an exercise prescription suitable for the fat measurement to the IP STB. |
