MEHTOD FOR SUPPROTING QUALITY OF MULTIMEIDA BROADCAST MULTICAST SERVICE(MBMS) IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for guaranteeing the quality of an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) in a mobile communication system and a UE thereof are provided to allocate an uplink radio resource per an MBMS and enable UEs satisfying specific conditions to use the radio resource in common, thereby preventing the waste and congestion of the radio resource. A method for providing an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) in a mobile communication system comprises the following steps of: allowing a BS(Base Station)(10) to request at least one UE(User Equipment)(50) to measure a receiving status for a specific MBMS and to allocate uplink radio resource; allowing the UE to transmit information about the receiving status for the MBMS through the allocated uplink radio resource to the BS(S14); and allowing the BS to set or adjust the radio environment setting value of a cell which the BS itself manages using the received receiving status information.
