PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation thread for plastic surgery and a tension imparting method of skin of extremely simple structure, safely applicable to the human body, effectively removing slack and wrinkle of skin, and keeping the tension action to the skin over a long time. SOLUTION: In a tread-like object where a projecting part partially mooring in a skin inner layer is formed in the longitudinal direction of a thread body section buried under the skin inner layer, at least the thread body section is constituted by absorbing threads, and a residual film part that is not partially absorbed by the skin inner layer is formed in the thread body section or the projecting part.
