PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing noise value and uniformizing wind speed distribution by reducing turbulent flows and reverse flows. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a body 4, provided with a ventilation flue 3 serving for communication between a suction port 1 and a blowoff port 2; a filter 5 and a cross flow fan 7 provided in the ventilation flue 3 of the body 4; and an airflow channel reducing guide means 8. The airflow channel reducing guide means 8 is disposed between the cross flow fan 7 and the blowoff port 2 and reduces turbulent flow and reverse flow, generated near the blowoff side end of the cross flow fan 7; and the noise value can be suppressed, and air speed distribution can be uniformized.
