PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular reproducing device which prevents a passenger from becoming unable to grasp the content of content data reproduced presently when the passenger cannot view an image displayed on a display device. SOLUTION: A navigation device 1 is provided with a parking brake detection part 26 which detects state information showing the state of a parking brake. While the content data is reproduced, it is determined whether a vehicle travels presently based on the state signal detected by the parking brake detection part 26. When it is determined that the vehicle is travelling, a voice of language output through a voice output part 24 is switched to a voice of language (language which can be understood easily by the passenger) of traveling-time language information stored in an EEPROM 48 previously.
