摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance magnetic transfer characteristics of a perpendicularly magnetized film in a magnetic transfer method, a magnetic transfer device, a magnetic recording medium and a magnetic recording and reproducing device. SOLUTION: In the magnetic transfer method including an adhesively sticking step for adhesively sticking a perpendicular magnetic recording layer formed surface of a perpendicular magnetic recording medium formed by forming a perpendicular magnetic recording layer on the surface of a disk like substrate to a magnetic layer formed surface of a master recording medium on which a magnetic layer is formed according to information to be recorded for the purpose of transferring information to the perpendicular magnetic recording medium and a magnetic transfer step for performing magnetic transfer by rotating a magnetic field applying means relatively to the perpendicular magnetic recording medium and the master recording medium which are adhesively stuck to each other with respect to an axis of a center of the perpendicular magnetic recording medium while applying a magnetic field to the perpendicular magnetic recording medium and the master recording medium which are adhesively stuck by using the magnetic field applying means applying the magnetic field, the magnetic field applying means is rotated twice or more relatively to the perpendicular magnetic recording medium and the master recording medium which are adhesively stuck.
