PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical slide door device capable of stabilizing and smoothing vertical moving operation of a vertically sliding opening and closing door. SOLUTION: This device comprises the door 1, a door guide rail 5 vertically guiding the door 1, an upper guide pulley 2 and a lower guide pulley 3, a balancer 4 having a weight equal to that of the door 1, a wire 7, and a closer 8 including a hook member 82 moving while buffering an elastic energizing force by release of a temporarily stopped state. The door 1 and the balancer 4 are mutually connected in a loop shape by the wire 7 through the upper guide pulley 2 and the lower guide pulley 3.
