A coated preparation of a macrolide antibiotic, comprising: a macrolide antibiotic having a group represented by the partial structural formula below, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a hydrate of the antibiotic or the salt as the main ingredient; and a coating agent mainly comprising a sugar, wherein the macrolide antibiotic is coated with the coating agent.
