<p>A method and an apparatus for downloading software in a digital television are provided to store more software related to a digital television system and select the software according to tastes of a user. A software downloading method of a digital television comprises the following steps of: receiving software related to the digital television system through a tuner; checking a version of the received software; storing the received software in a mass storage memory if software of the checked version does not exist in the mass storage memory; reading specific software, of software stored in the mass storage memory, to a driving software storage(S352); and driving the digital television system according to the read specific software(S355).</p> |
