There are provided an imaging device, an information processing device, an information processing method, a program and a program recording medium capable of providing an optimal image to a user. A recording medium (4) contains: a large-capacity image of wider angle and higher resolution than a normal image recognized to be recorded by a user, the large-capacity image having the entire range of the normal image; and a reproduction parameter including information indicating the range captured in the normal image. According to the reproduction parameter, the image extraction unit (22) extracts an image or a partial area from the large-capacity image and causes a display device (3) to display it as an extracted image. On the other hand, a reproduction parameter processing unit (24) generates a new reproduction parameter according to the operation of an operation unit (26). In this case, the image extraction unit (22) extracts an extraction image according to the new reproduction parameter. The present invention may be applied to, for example, an image recording/reproducing device. |
