摘要 <p>An organic electroluminescence device is provided to ensure sufficient brightness and excellent stability and durability, be easily manufactured in a large size, and reduce the occurrence of defects during a manufacturing process. An organic electroluminescence device has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic compound layer. The organic compound layer comprises at least one layer containing charge-transportable polyester. The charge-transportable polyester has a repeat unit including a structure represented by the following formula (I-1) or (I-2). A layer closest to the positive electrode within the at least one layer containing charge-transportable polyester has a layer thickness of 20-100 nm. The negative electrode includes a first layer which gets in contact with the organic compound layer and contains an alkali metal oxide, alkali earth metal oxide, alkali metal halide, or alkali earth metal halide, and a second layer which gets in contact with the first layer and contains an alkali metal or alkali earth metal.</p>
