An image processing engine and an image processing system including the image processing engine are provided to reduce the number of times of accessing a command memory so as to decrease power consumption to read the command memory. A means for designating a two-dimensional source register and destination register is set at an operand of a command. At multiple cycles, operations using multiple source registers are performed and a plurality of destinations are obtained. For a command which obtains destinations using multiple source registers in multiple cycles, a data round-off operating device is connected to a final stage of a pipeline. A plurality of central processing units are serially connected and a command memory is shared. A means having a field for controlling synchronization of neighboring central processing units and performing synchronization control is set at a command operand of each central processing unit.
