A cradle of a portable player is provided to permit a user to watch broadcasting or motion picture with comfort, by allowing the player to be supported on a plane at a predetermined angle. A cradle of a portable player(100) includes a base(110), a plurality of ribs(113), and a support member(120) The base is joined to a recess(102) formed at a rear surface of the player such that the base is detachable from the player and rotatable from a hinge(111). The ribs are arranged at a predetermined interval along an inner surface of the base in an axial direction. The support member is arranged in the recess of the base and rotates so as to be supported by the ribs and supports the player. The base has one end which is hinged to a lower end of the rear surface of the player, and the other end with an elastic rib(112) to be engaged/disengaged to/from a groove(104) formed at the recess of the player.
