A plasma display device is provided to reduce the heat generation in the plasma display device by preventing the potential of a bypass capacitor from being erroneously decreased due to a parasitic component in the bypass capacitor. A second terminal of a first transistor(Yf) is connected to an electrode which forms a discharge cell. A control signal having a low or high level voltage is applied to a first terminal of a first capacitor(Cb1). A push-pull circuit(512a') includes first and second source terminals, an input terminal, and an output terminal, and outputs the voltage from the first or second source terminal to the output terminal. A floating voltage source(Vcc) includes an anode connected to the first source terminal, and a cathode connected to the second source terminal. A first zener diode(Dz1) is connected between a first and a second terminals of the first capacitor. A second zener diode(Dz2) is series-connected to the first diode in a reverse direction.
