821,855. Mouldings. ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS BAC. May 28, 1956 [Aug. 24, 1955], No. 16375/56. Class 20(4) [Also in Group XXV] Means for securing a beading 8 to a panel 1 comprises securing means 2, 3 for attaching to the panel 1 a slip of resilient material consisting of a head 5 and a pair of deformable limbs 6, the head and limbs engaging the beading 8 to maintain it on the panel, portions 4 of the clip being rounded at 5a, Fig. 4a, corresponding to recesses 3a in the plate 3 of the securing means. The edge 8a of the beading is applied over the limb 6 and by exerting pressure in the direction Z, Fig. 1, the limbs 6 deform to 6<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 2, so that edge 8b can be slipped over the head 5 by pressure in the direction Z<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 1, the pressures being then relaxed and the clip returns to its original shape to hold the beading on the panel. Figs. 5-8b (not shown), include modifications whereby the securing means 2, 3 are replaced by bayonet-type fastenings. |
