<p>Procedure to freeze and to store cells in a container comprises freezing the cells as cell suspension at a storage temperature and storing in that temperature, where the storage of the cells takes place under gas-proof closure or in an inert atmosphere, and the cells are recombinant cells. Independent claims are included for: (1) frozen cells that is manufactured by the above method, where a transient change of the cells takes place by the heterologous nucleic acids and the transient change of the cells is stabilized by the retention of cell vitality; and (2) cell library containing frozen cells, where the cell library consists of a multitude of cell populations, where any such cell population of the cell library is transfected with a type of species of a heterologous nucleic acids, or with a DNA-vector, which is expressed, transduced or infected in a type or species of a heterologous nucleic acids, where the heterologous nucleic acid is different from one or more heterologous nucleic acids, with which one, more or all the other cell populations of the cell population are transfected, transduced or infected.</p> |
