A method and a device for displaying dynamic traffic information are provided to enable a driver to obtain state information of a road quickly and easily by variably changing a speed of an image according to a road speed. A receiver(220) receives a TPEG(Transport Protocol Expert Group) data. A TPEG processor(240) converts the received TPEG data to TPEG data according to a link ID of map data. A map data processor(260) processes the map data, on which the TPEG data is displayed. A dynamic state processor(210) relates the TPEG data to the link ID of the map data and manages a moving speed and display position information of an image to be displayed. A display controller(200) displays the image on a display(280) at the predetermined moving speed.
