The probe has a housing (16), and an image acquisition unit (26) provided within the housing, where the probe is designed in form of a capsule. The acquisition unit is designed for optical admission of an area outside the probe. The acquisition unit is movably held within the housing in order to change a movement of admission area. The acquisition unit exhibits a lighting unit (20) for lighting of the admission area.
