A connector of a flame arrester for a vehicle is provided to attach/detach easily the flame arrester to/from an exhaust pipe of a muffler through a fastening member consisting of a ring and a nut. A connector of a flame arrester for a vehicle, includes a connection pipe(21), a leaf spring(30), and a fastening member. The connection pipe is fitted to an outer surface of an exhaust pipe(3), and has an outer surface with through holes(21a) formed at a predetermined interval. The leaf spring has one end which is protruded into the connection pipe via the through holes and elastically contacts the outer surface of the exhaust pipe, and the other end fastened onto the outer surface of the connection pipe. The fastening member fastens/unfastens one end of the leaf spring onto/from the outer surface of the exhaust pipe. The fastening member includes a ring(40) and a nut(50).
