Stick solid cosmetic (10) containing a wax of 45°C or above melting point and a liquid oil, wherein the hardness of distal end portion (16) is in the range of 0.07 to 0.38 N and the hardness of boundary portion (20) lying between portion held within intermediate plate (12) and portion outside the intermediate plate (12) is 0.03 to 0.31 N higher than that of the distal end portion, and wherein the hardness is gradually increased from the distal end portion (16) toward the boundary portion (20). Thus, the stick solid cosmetic (10) realizes smooth extension and excellent product strength.
