Moistures regulating composite material comprises at least one laminar substrate, at least one water-soluble hygroscopic substance and at least one water-absorbing polymerized polymer, which is present on the hygroscopic substance or the laminar substrate, where the ratio of hygroscopic substance to polymer is 0.01-1. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the composite materials; and (2) a cushion seat or mattress comprising the composite materials.
