<p>The invention relates to a puller which is intended for moving a billet in a machine tool. The puller comprises a counter lug (12) and grappling devices (13) equipped with loading elements (15) for gripping a billet (14). The grappling devices (13) are adapted to be set in contact with the billet (14) with a puller movement substantially cross directional to the billet (14). The grappling devices (13) consist of two rollers (1) set non-rotatably to the puller, the two contact points (23) of which, formed with the billet (14), are adapted to be in the same line with the midpoint (24) of the billet (14). The invention also relates to a method for moving a billet in a machine tool.</p> |
