A car audio device is provided to minimize the redesign of a car audio circuit and obviate the duplication of hardware units when a trip computing function and a DMB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) receiving function are applied to the car audio device, thereby decreasing the production cost. A trip computing controller(430) generates vehicle state information. An RF(Radio Frequency) unit(310) converts a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal of a channel selected by a user into a DMB base band signal. An integrated DMB SoC(System on Chip) module(400) has a DAB base band for generating digital audio data by decoding the DMB base band signal, and a DMB decoder for generating digital video data. The DMB decoder performs the communication with the trip computing controller. A microcomputer(320) transmits a control command for decoding of the DMB SoC module, and receives the digital audio, the digital video data, and the vehicle state information. An interface unit(330) converts the digital audio, the digital video data, and the vehicle state information into a display signal and an audio signal for output. A display unit(340) displays the display signal outputted from the interface unit. A speaker(350) outputs the audio signal outputted from the interface unit. |
