A method for heat stabilization of sawn goods is performed in chambers with periodic action for heat stabilization or change of color of wood. Besides that water in vessel placed in floor of chamber is heated to boiling from pipes in which furnace gases from burning wood waste pass, and saturated vapor obtained fills working space of chamber and heats sawn goods placed there till temperature of water boiling, this is supported during hour for thermal stabilization and additionally during day for equilibration of color.
