NANOGALVANIC ELEMENT

A nanogalvanic element consists of short-circuited positive and negative electrodes of different electrochemical potentials placed in electrolyte. Electrodes are made as agglomerate of nanoparticles of different metal that constitute electrochemical couples. Electrodes have mainly spherical form, the surface area of positive and negative electrodes is equal, and the average diameter of positive and negative electrodes is mainly less than 1 mkm.
