The proposed method for determining the functional state of a kidney allotransplant consists in determining the content of urea and creatinine in the patient's blood, determining the daily excretion of the aforesaid substances with urina, and additionally, determining the free water clearance. The dysfunction of the transplanted kidney is diagnosed if the clearance is -0.3 ... -1.2 ml/min. The complete recovery of the functions is diagnosed if the clearance is less than -.2 ml/min.
